Legends and Heroes Tour to Honor Southern California motocross legend Todd Peterson at Anaheim 1

The Legend and Heroes Tour Traveling Moto Museum is happy to announce that they will again take part in the pit party activation in the Fan Fest activation at round one of the 2022 season in Anaheim, CA. Despite having to miss the 2021 season due to Covid restrictions, the tour is back, full throttle, celebrating the history of supercross. The tour will honor former Southern California legend Todd Peterson during opening ceremonies in addition to their display of vintage machines and memorabilia from local enthusiasts in the pits.

About Todd Peterson

Todd was a household name in the Southern California motocross scene in the 70s and 80s. From his start in the early 70s as a mini cycle racer, Todd amassed wins in several disciplines, including flat track, TT, and eventually motocross, where he went on to win four minicycle world championships.

He continued his winning ways on full-sized bikes, eventually turning pro in 1977. During his pro career, Todd would record 448 professional motocross wins, six CMC Night Motocross Championships, six Utah Night Motocross Championships, and the Mickey Thompson Off-Road Championship at the LA Coliseum. He would earn the nickname “King of Ascot” due to his domination at that infamous facility.

Following his motocross career, Todd started Team Swolen, a motorcycle-oriented activewear company where legends live forever.

With the help of tour sponsor EZ-Up Shelters, the 2022 design will feature a walk-through timeline that celebrates all the sports supercross champions. The tour has kept the founding fathers and mothers pure in their thoughts by honoring the men and women that shaped supercross and motocross into what it is today. They tell the story of supercross.

Thanks to our local friends at each round. The Legends Tour features some of the best vintage motocross bikes on display in a single location. Featuring different vehicles at each round, our guests can relive the machines of their youth and show their family and friends the early days of motocross and supercross. Look for the Legend and Heroes Tour Traveling Moto Museum at each round of the Monster Energy Supercross series in 2022.
