Antron Brown

LEGENDS AND HEROES HONOREE - INDIANAPOLIS SUPERCROSS 2018

At only four years old, shortly after learning to ride a bicycle with training wheels, Brown made the jump to a motorcycle, and he has never looked back. By the time he was twelve, Brown had begun motocross racing on 80cc bikes, but drag racing was where he would shine. As a senior in high school, he started drag racing a Suzuki GSXR1100 consistently turning in 9.20 second, 160 miles per hour runs setting the stage for what would become an incredible professional career.

While attending college in his home state of New Jersey, Brown got the call to turn pro as a part of Team 23 Racing. During his 10 years aboard the team’s Suzukis Brown won 16 Pro Stock Motorcycle Events. He had 11 number 1 qualifying awards and was second in the points standings in both 2001 and 2006.

But he was not finished yet. Brown made the transition to the Top Fuel class and earned the pole in his first race and won in just his fourth race becoming the first driver in NHRA history to win races in both Top Fuel and Pro Stock Motorcycle categories.

Thus far in his career, Brown has won 65 event titles and the NHRA Top Fuel World Championship in 2012, 2015, and 2016.
