June 22, 2010 - Merced, CA ~ Round # 4 of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship series at Budd Creek is in the books for the Legends & Heroes Motocross Tour.  Heartfelt thanks to Jonathan Beasley and his crew for again extending an invitation, asking the Legends & Heroes Motocross Tour to be a part of their outdoor national this year.  In addition to our vintage bike display and motocross time line of history, at this round we featured some cool historic art work from master artist Rob Kinsey (www.RobKinsey.com).  Rob flew in from England and brought his canvas compositions of champions including David Bailey, Danny “Magoo” Chandler, Roger DeCoster, Steve McQueen and Marty Moates.

For an added touch this year, “Moto Trivia” was introduced at Budds Creek.  The kids and parents all took part in testing their moto knowledge with questions on the Pro Gold sponsored / Billy Liles Kawasaki era.  All the winning kids were rewarded with the official Legends and Heroes T-Shirt.

Three Time National Champion, Tony D, came by for an autograph session.  It’s always good to see the “D-Man”.  Also on hand was the professor Gary Bailey.  Gary spent a bunch of time at the display and chatted about his   Gary Bailey Motocross Museum and Foundation.
